Meet Lizzie

On one of the last days of summer in September 2017, a Middleburg family found a lonely, abandoned three week old kitten in their backyard. They waited some to see if her momma came for her and she did not. They had two lactating stray moms but neither would take the kitten. She was healthy, but they were an elderly couple on a limited income and they were going away in a few weeks and were afraid they wouldn't have anyone to feed the kitten that could barely fit in the palm of your hand.

A seasoned newborn foster mom stepped up to the plate and took little Lizzie under her wing. Hand feeding her through those first critical weeks she is now plumped up and ready for adoption. Lizzie was born in early September 2017. She is described as cuddly, playful and feisty. She has a pretty tabby striped coat. She is currently in a foster home in Northumberland.
