Do you like to workout? Do you like going on adventures? What about running in a marathon? Final question, are you in search of a fur buddy to do those things with? Then I am YOUR DUDE! My name is Colt and I am all about fitness and fun! My ideal owner would be an active guy who would consider me his ride or die. Don't get me wrong I like the ladies, but I really enjoy having a dude in my life to keep me in line. I am a year old pit/American bulldog mix who has a taste for adventure. I am good with the other dogs male, female, big, small in my foster home. In fact I love to wrestle with the younger male in my foster home. Depending on the dog it can take some time to get to know me. I have a deep voice and other dogs can take that the wrong way. I am "crate trained" in the sense that I don't try to break out of it, but I can be pretty vocal at times. Because of this an apartment might not be the best thing for me, I don't want to disturb the neighbors with my Barry White singing. I sleep out of my crate at night and don't have any accidents. I love to snuggle, usually I like being the big spoon, but really I just want to be near you. A home with a privacy fence would be ideal since I like to stretch my legs. However, if you are willing to take me on walks or your runs with you that can work too. My foster family has two kids 7 and 9 and I really like them! Sometimes I forget how strong I am though and can bump into people so small kids are a no go for me, I don't want to accidentally hurt anyone. I graduated from the Pups for Parole program and know basic commands. I still work on these daily so I can stay sharp!
