Sadie cat has been there and done that! She was originally adopted in D.C. and lived the apartment life for 4 years while welcoming two new members to our family (our daughter & son). She then flew across the country, took a stroll in the Denver airport during a layover and then continued her journey to Idaho. She continued to live a life of adventure in Colorado for 5 years with learning to outwit and outsmart foxes, skunks, bears and mountain lions, while having an additional member added to our family (our second son). Back to Idaho for a job opportunity and staying with the grandparents in hopes for a rental where her family could dote on her. Sadly, her family (us) is going on a second year of finding no rentals in the Jackson area where pets are allowed. With a heavy heart, I have to do what is best for my family & pets and need to provide some stability and permanence for Sadie cat, which she greatly deserves.

Sadie is a 9-year-old, spayed female short hair domestic cat. She is used to being indoors and outdoors. She is good with having her nails trimmed and can have nail caps applied if needed. She is litterbox trained and prefers using the bathroom outdoors when it is not winter. She is particular about her food (Orijen cat & kitten) and loves the Temptation cat treats. She has her own special water fountain, food dish, brush and toys that will come with her.

She has grown up with children, but has more patience and tolerance for adults and older children that are calmer, quieter and more predictable. She seems to bond with women more than men or boys. She is a great hunter and we have never had any rodent or bird issues when she is on the prowl. She also loves adventures and goes for walks with us along our property and surrounding trails.

She is a one and only type of cat. We have never been able to have her tolerate other cats living with her. She chases off strays that enter the property and growls at neighbors' cats. She has lived with dogs sporadically and will tolerate if they do not chase. I have always placed nail caps on her when she met a new dog to keep them both safe. We always created a "safe" spot for Sadie with using a baby gate so she could have dog-free zones.

I have posted flyers around to all the local feed and pet stores and have been trying to get the word out about her. Thank you for your guys' help, I greatly appreciate it. I hope I can find an even better home than we have provided for her these past 9 years.

I have sent 4 pictures of her as an attachment and if an adoption does not work out, I would take her back until another option became available. I want to try to keep her out of a shelter if possible and want to make sure a forever home is found instead of her being passed on to someone else or being dropped off somewhere.
