Atticus Boxer & Labrador Retriever Mix Bloomsburg, PA

Atticus (Monkey) is a senior who was found in rough shape by a visitor to our area. He was weak, very skinny with ribs and hip bones protruding, and missing some fur due to fleas. He had on a collar and newer id tag, but the number was disconnected. When the finder called us for help, she was relieved we could take him and drove her to us right away. Atticus laid on the back seat cuddling with her young granddaughter. He seemed relieved to be in human care again.

From the second he arrived, he seemed to know he was in good hands and offered love and affection immediately. Rest, food, vet care, and TLC have helped his inner puppy emerge. He is gaining weight back and is ready for his very own family.

Monkey loves to run and play fetch in the field. He is often seen carrying around his favorite stuffed toys and will sometimes insist on carrying them on his walks! Monkey is extremely sweet and loving with adults & kids, gets along with other dogs as long as they don't try to steal his toys. He is neutered, vaccinated, had a blood parasite screening, is micro chipped, and appears housebroken. We believe him to be Boxer / Lab mix. A microchip with disconnected phone number revealed him to be 10 years old.
