Espressa Border Collie Mix Springfield, MO

Hello, I'm Espressa! I can't wait to meet you! I'm a 2 year old, 25 lb female Border Collie and my foster mom says I'm a model citizen. I have a great sense of humor and fun, but also know sit, stay, down, "outside", "off" and, of course, "no"! Before I came to Rescue One, I was an only dog, but I have really enjoyed playing with my canine foster sister. I like kids and my 6-year old human foster sister can walk me with no problem - I am that good! Please don't make me share a house with a cat, those things cannot be trusted! At my house now they have a privacy fence and I can climb it so I will need a family who will keep close watch on me when outside. My ideal day would be a walk around the neighborhood, some fetch or tug in the yard with you, some cuddling on the couch and I always enjoy throwing a toy to myself (my R1 mom says I look and sound silly).I growl a lot when I play, but I just have a vivid imagination - don't tell anyone, but I am not actually as tough as I sound. I like to "counter surf", but mom says it’s not very polite (it just all smells so good)! Friendly, silly, kind, playful and polite - yep, that's me! My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
