Please Welcome Back Oscar to the GDU adoptables family. Oscar was found with his sisters in a dumpster, and adopted from us as a small puppy, but his family has now found the commitment to pet ownership is more then they can give and Oscar has been spending the majority of his time crated, which is no life for a pup. At 7ish months old, Oscar is a sweet, loving, affectionate boy. He is good with kids and other animals, but will need some basic obedience training, which we will begin in the morning. Oscar is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be fully vetted prior to adoption. We are looking for a family able and ready to make a LIFE LONG commitment to this very deserving young boy. While we understand that life circumstances change, this boy deserves "Forever". Oscar is being fostered in Lake Monticello. VA

GDU does ask a minimum adoption donation of 300.00. This is a minimum donation and does not cover all expenses as we are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum donation includes DAPP, rabies if age appropriate, heartworm test and preventative, if age appropriate, and flea and tick treatment, as well as neutering or spaying if the animal is medically sound to undergo surgery. The foster family may send along a small transitional bag of the food they have been on, and if they have become particularly attached to a special item(s) while in foster, they may send this along, as well. As a 501(c)3 non-profit rescue organization, all funds received from adoption donations go directly towards vet care for our rescue animals.
