Meet Virgil Earp

Howdy my name is Virgil Earp and I was born for a life of adventure. My Momma is a bluetick coonhound and my Daddy was a very ambitious Dachshund. I got all my Dads good looks but I am probably going to be around 30-40lbs when I am done growing so don't expect me to stay little for long, I have lots of growing left to do since I am only 11-13 weeks old.
Just like you would expect from a Wild West cowboy I have lots of great skills such as going potty outside or on a pad, eating lots of food, snuggling, being goofy, sneak attacks on unsuspecting victims and being a ring leader.
I also have several interests even at my young age such as the great outdoors (so a home with a yard  or a family that takes me hiking and camping would be great), parkour (what can I say I love running and jumping off of things), treats (did I mention I love food?), and of course playing with other dogs, I REALLY hope my family has a playful friend for me.
By now you are probably thinking I am perfect but I fooled ya, I am not perfect. For example I have little training, my foster Mom says I am really smart and a fast learner so I should be easy to train but, my Daddy was a Dachshund so I may be a little stubborn. So far my foster Mom has taught me that my crate is a safe and comfortable place to hang out. I will eagerly go right on in for treats or dinner. Even though I am comfortable in there I still sometimes cry for a few minutes when I first go in, but not all the time. She also taught me how to sit and lay down, I don't have it down pat yet but I am doing really good.  I am doing pretty good with my potty training but sometimes I get busy and forget and have an accident. Also I am a puppy so I sometimes nip and play (tear up) things that I shouldn't, what can I say I am a work in progress.
Enough of all that, are you ready to ride off into the sunset with me, beginning a life filled with outdoor adventures? If that sounds amazing to you then go ahead and fill out the application and let's meet and see if it's a bullseye match.

My fee is $150 and includes 3 rounds of dewormer, 2 parvo/distemper vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, spay/neuter, 2 wellness exams, and microchip! *adopters are responsible for final round of parvo/distemper vaccination and rabies vaccine if adopted before 12 weeks of age*
