Meet Cookie Wonder
Cookie is a Wonder! She survived a fall from a 4th story window (her pelvis, sacrum, hips and tail were shattered) but this girl’s spirit is HUGE and could not be broken! Cookie is friendly, loving and ever so sweet.
Cookie bonds very quickly with people, and loves to give affection. She is unable to walk on her own as her hind legs were affected by the fall, but she is perfect as she is with her wheelchair that she professionally maneuvers (her wheels allows her independent mobility), a stroller that she uses to sleep in, and a nifty sling pouch for quick outings with her people. Being only 9 lbs she is very mobile and loves going everywhere with her human bonded friend.

Recently Cookie and her foster passed the Pet Partners Therapy Team training and evaluation so they are officially registered as a Therapy Team, able to visit hospitals, schools, special care shelters to spread her inspiration to others! She will be a strong advocate for those who need an extra hand and support for whatever challenges they may be facing, as she herself is example of one who has overcome her own, living as a happy little pup. She can become a therapy team with her adoptive family if they so choose.
Cookie's foster of 9 months will be able to help equip potential adopters with the education and tools needed to welcome Cookie into their home. She is your typical Maltese through and through - a wonderful and loyal friend and partner in crime. Cookie is ready to meet you and show you what a WONDER she truly is.
