Meet Queenie! She is a mix of Whippet and Pit Bull. She has a brown and black brindle coat with a white chest. She is a fully grown young adult at 2 years old and only 35 pounds.
Queenie is originally from the South L.A. shelter but then spent many months kenneled with little time out to socialize with humans and exposure to the outside world. She was understandably very frightened when she came to our rescue. Now in a foster home, Queenie is able to show us the dog she really is! She is very loving and enjoys her time with her human. Queenie loves to play with her foster brother who chases her around the yard. She also lives with 2 cats that she respects and does not chase. She is fully house-trained and crate-trained. She is learning how to meet new people. Queenie needs someone who will be patient with her and understand she needs some time to adjust. Come meet this sweet girl at our kennel in South Gate! Queenie is already spayed, micro-chipped, is current on vaccines, house-trained, crate-trained; good with dogs, good with cats, and good with kids.
