Butch Labrador Retriever & Hound Mix Chatham, ON

Applicants must have a secure fenced yard and another playful dog similar in age and size to Butch. We can only accept applications from Chatham Kent, Sarnia, London, Windsor and points within these boundaries.

Butch is a happy, handsome 2 year old Lab/Hound. He is a healthy boy, medium in size, weighing 57 lbs.

Butch gets along well with people...men, women and children....just chilling with them, being cuddled or getting tummy rubs. He loves running off some energy with another young, playful dog who is about his size.

He likes children but being an energetic, medium sized boy, supervision is needed as he may try to jump up and give them kisses. Butch enjoys playing with stuffies, squeaky toys or having a game of fetch. Going for walks is exciting for Butch. He does tend to pull on leash but although an easy walk harness is proving helpful in his training. This guy is always eager to go for a car ride and he is a well behaved passenger whether on short or long trips.

He is one smart boy who has easily learned commands such as sit, shake a paw, down, stay and heel.

For Butch to be happy, he needs a fenced yard in which to run and another dog of similar age and size as a playmate. He will be in his glory with a family who will play with him, take him for walks and love him for the awesome dog he is!
