Meet Sylvie
Sylvie came to the Medfield Shelter to find a new home, but she found the shelter environment stressful so she went into a wonderful foster home with one of our volunteers where she has turned into a lap cat. She greets visitors by jumping on the couch next to them and absolutely loves to play with wand toys and have her hair brushed. Now that Sylvie has shown us the type of home where she thrives, she is ready for a forever home of her own where she’ll be treated like a queen. Her ideal home is one where she would be the only cat and there would be no young children. Sylvie is approximately 2 years old.
To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application from this page:

If a cat is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption. The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place on Saturdays from 11 - 1:00 during adoption hours, or by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125 if 5 years old or younger and $75 for cats 6 years and up. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, combo testing (for FeLV and FIV) and spaying/neutering.
