Meet Milky
Milky is a Smooth Coated Border Collie mix, born on 10/11/14
She was born in a puppy mill and her job was to produce babies. An amazing thing happened, she, along with her four puppies were surrendered to us. Her "kids" got adopted but she is still waiting for her new home.
What Milky needs -
Time - she needs time to adjust to change.
Adult only home.
Patience. Kindness. Lots of petting. Consistency. Exercise. A great yard to run and romp. A Kong stuffed treat at the end of the day.
What you will get in return-
The most loyal friend on earth. On the days when I have a volunteer care for her - she explodes in excitement as I walk through the door after the volunteer leaves. I open her door,
wait patiently for her to calm down, pat my leg in a welcome gesture and wait for her to stand on her back legs and kiss my face. Every day. Ten times a day we live this. Every day she is excited to see me. She doesn't care if my hair is a mess, my jeans are dirty and or my shirt stained with paw prints. She only cares that it's me. When we go outside she runs around and checks out the world but every few minutes she returns to reassure me that I am still hers or she is still mine. She climbs on my lap (who am I to tell her she weighs 50 pounds) she stares into my eyes and waits for me to brush her, chat with her or just tell her how pretty she is.
This is what you will get from my Milky.
She needs to be adopted into a home with a secured fenced in yard and an adult only home.
