Meet Spinner
Spinner is a handsome 6 year old 13 pound male Terrier mix. He is a very happy, excitable guy. He needs to go to a home without any kids under 12 years old.
Spinner's foster dad had this to say about him:
"Spinner is quite a nice addition to my home. My family (3 adults) visited on Sunday for lunch and they all enjoyed his company. He loves rope toys and will play tug for quite awhile. He's good company. He likes to sit next to me on the couch or on the back of the couch so he an see what's happening in the outside world. He walks wonderfully....he's fast...so it seems like pulling a bit. But, honestly, I like the pace. He would love to chase squirrels (darn that leash). He does his business outside on walks and in the fenced yard. When in the yard, he doesn't spend a lot of time roaming about. "I'm done...let's get back to that couch". His spinning antics and funny little idiosyncratic movements often make me chuckle. We sat outside for a few hours in Uptown Normal and he was quite popular. He was good with people and they were fond of him. A few smaller children did stop and pet him. He did well. With dogs, he seems aggressive (regardless of size). But after being around them a bit, he seems to mellow."
His minimum adoption donation is $145 plus a $10 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
