Meet BAMBI
Meet BAMBI:: 3 year old, Spayed Female Red Doberman Pinscher, 49 pounds. Available for adoption!
This super sweet girl has the most beautiful and expressive natural ears, and she is a professional head tilter ;) Bambi's foster family can't say enough good things about her! She is great with all people and children, other dogs, and even does great with their cats (dog savvy indoor cats). She always wants to be by your side and is very well behaved inside the home. Bambi LOVES to snuggle and she knows basic commands/obedience. She will let you know when she needs to go out and potty, and she will happily go in a crate for you while you're at work or running errands, but does fine if left out.
We rescued Bambi from a shelter and she had a rough life of breeding before ending up there, so she is still working on gaining some weight back from previously being ill and she is growing her fur back in from a previous flea infestation, but is well on her way to being a healthy size and getting her beautiful rusty & red coat back.
A completely fenced yard is REQUIRED to adopt Bambi. Bambi would do best with an moderately active family who will include her in daily walks and exercise.
$200 adoption fee includes her initial intake vetting that we provided her with our vet, spay, current vaccines (DALPP/Bordatella/1 yr. rabies), heartworm test (negative), current on heartworm and flea prevention (Trifexis), deworming, and micropchip.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.
IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
