Shanti was left outside by her family, pregnant and alone. Just one day after arriving at the shelter she gave birth to a wonderful kitten who she treasured and protected. As soon as her kitten was adopted, Shanti allowed her foster mom to pet and spoil her, just as she deserved. Now that she has been spayed, Shanti is at the shelter and is looking for her forever home. She is becoming more comfortable with the volunteers as we teach her to trust us, and she even enjoys being in the cage-free room spending time with other cats.

If a cat is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption. The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place on Saturdays from 11 - 1:00 during adoption hours, or by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125 if 5 years old or younger and $75 for cats 6 years and up. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, combo testing (for FeLV and FIV) and spaying/neutering.
