Cobb is looking VERY scared, and is doing a lot of hiding, but he is truly a VERY SWEET neutered male! He is 9-years-old, and was surrendered to the shelter on 07/23/17 due to his previous owner moving and was not able to take him with. He was born on 06/22/08, and his front paws were declawed when he was 9-months-old. Going from a loving home (the only home he has ever known) to living the life of a shelter animal is hard to do, but Cobb is exceptionally nice, and is trying his very best to be brave until someone adopts him. Cobb may not feel comfortable until he is once again in a loving home. If you have a quiet household, please consider giving Cobb a try! Senior cats are often overlooked this time of year due to the shelter being full, and with many of the other cats being cute little kittens. Senior cats are often the best choice as they are aged-to-perfection in so many ways, and often make great napping buddies. Please keep in mind that many cats live into their 20's, and Cobb is sure to understand that he was rescued from being a shelter cat, and will be all the more thankful for it. He is a mellow boy, and loves to cuddle when it is his idea to do so. He does well with other cats and with gentle children. He likes being combed, petted, and spending time on your lap. Cobb is still playful, with laser pointer toys and string being his favorite toys. Cobb may look too scared to you at first, but please be confident in knowing that his heart is filled with love. It just takes a few minutes of time spent with him to realize that he is a very special fellow in need of your loving home.
