Medfield Animal Shelter has joined the nation-wide event Saturday August 19th the #ClearTheShelters event . All of our cats 6 months and over will be $25.

Ashby, Amber(who has been adopted) and their mom Aquinnah all came from the same family. It is a story all shelters hear all too often; the family was moving and rather than finding a home that where they were allowed to keep all the pets they chose one that did not and advertised all the cats on Craigslist.
Ashby is a very sweet 9-month-old kitten with her soft coat and big yellow eyes as is her sister Amber . They arrived on 8/2 and received all their vet care 8/3 and are now up for adoption. She is very fond of Fritz in her room so if you are looking for 2 cats this could be your set!

If a cat or kitten is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption. The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place on Saturdays from 11 - 1:00 during adoption hours, or by appointment. Our kitten adoption fee (cats up to 6 months old) is $160 for a single kitten or $260 for a pair. The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, microchip, combo testing (for FeLV and FIV) and spaying/neutering when old enough.
