Meet Giselle
Giselle is a gorgeous kitten who is approximately 5 months old and was rescued from the outdoors. She came to us worried and unsure, but now she can't stop playing with toys and entertaining the volunteers with her antics. Her coat is a beautiful, shiny grey and white, her eyes are a glowing green and she is gaining weight every day as kittens do. There is one thing that makes her different, she tested positive for feline leukemia.
Feline leukemia is one of the most common infectious diseases in cats. It can can be spread to other cats so she needs a home where she is the only cat or she only lives with other leukemia cats. It is not a disease that other types of animals or people can get. The shelter would be happy to send information or speak to anyone who would like to know more about feline leukemia or Giselle.
To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application from this page:

If a cat is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption. The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place on Saturdays from 11 - 1:00 during adoption hours, or by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125 if 5 years old or younger and $75 for cats 6 years and up. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, combo testing (for FeLV and FIV) and spaying/neutering.
