Tuffy Chihuahua Mix Normal, IL

Meet Tuffy! He is an 8 year old Chihuahua mix who weighs 15.4 pounds. This little guy is a real sweetheart and super cuddly. He loves to be near his people and his favorite activity is sitting up on his back legs and gazing at his human friends. He would make a wonderful couch companion.

Tuffy's foster mom had this to say about him:

"Tuffy is such a sweet, laid back little guy. He loves just sitting around with his family and being petted. When you stop petting him, he will pull your hand back with his paw and make you continue. He will also tap you on your leg when it is time for some love. He sits a lot in his kangaroo pose, on his bottom with his front legs bent. He is completely housebroken and loves riding in the car and going for walks. I have never crated him because he doesn't bother anything when we are gone. He is very well behaved. I am not sure how he is with other animals. He tolerates kids, but they make him a little nervous. Tuffy is pretty timid and tense until he gets to know and trust you. Once he does, he is such a loving, fun little dog. He is a great companion dog."

His minimum adoption donation is $145 plus a $10 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
