Lovey Chihuahua Chatham, ON

Our volunteers travel to complete home visits, so we can only accept applications from London, Chatham Kent, Windsor, Sarnia and points within these boundaries. Lovey is being fostered in London.

Lovey is a female Chihuahua who is about 7 - 8 years old and weighs 3.5 kg. She has a sweet and playful nature. If left alone she can be sleepy and quiet for hours while with someone she can be brave and adventurous, sniffing and exploring her surroundings.

This little one is completely blind. She is low - medium in activity so needs to be monitored. When you call her name, her tail wags happily and she will come to find you.

Lovey is just that….loving. She gets along well with adults as well as children. She pays no attention to other dogs and has not been introduced to any cats.
Being well behaved in a vehicle, she makes an excellent passenger.

What is the ideal home for this girl? Her owner does not need to be active but must be prepared to meet her special needs.

Lovey could live in an apartment. If there is a backyard, it needs to be securely fenced, have few steps and ideally small as a large yard may be overwhelming. She needs someone who will give her attention, fuss over her and make her life a happy one!

Lovey is microchipped, spayed and is up to date with her vaccinations. She recently had a dental and is completely recovered...ready to be adopted now.
