Meet Rudy
Even senior dogs learn new tricks!! MEET RUDY!! An 11 years YOUNG setter ready to spend his golden years with you. He came to us from a kennel hunt club and has transitioned to a couch potato very well. He is quiet but does like to play with ALL the stuffed toys he can have!! He loves other dogs, cats and children and appreciates a gentle, loving hand with lots of unconditional LOVE. He does well on a leash, is crate trained and has been trained to use a doggie door to go out to a fenced yard at his leisure. Rudy does have a good off leash recall BUT his foster mom feels that he should have a FENCED YARD in his furever home. If Rudy sounds like your perfect best friend apply to adopt him now!!!
Medical update: Rudy recently had his right eye removed due to an acute injury. It hasn't affected his ability to run, love, and play with his stuffies though!
If you are interested in adopting Rudy or another OESR dog, you must complete the application process at www.oesr.org. We will not be able to answer your questions about this dog until you have been approved to adopt.
All adoptive homes must have a fenced yard or other type of containment or boundaries for the dog. Vet and personal reference checks as well as a home visit will be conducted prior to final adoption approval for all OESR dogs.
Adoption fees range from 250.00 to 395.00
