Savannah Rat Terrier Normal, IL

Meet Savannah! She is a 10+ year old Rat Terrier who weighs 14.8 pounds. She will be a lovely lap warmer and companion for a special someone. Savannah wants nothing more than to sit on a friendly lap. She came to our shelter with two other dogs from another Illinois rescue group that had to close their doors. Savannah must go to a home with no kids under 12 years old.

Savannah's foster mom had this to say about her:

"Savannah is a love bug. She loves hanging outside with you and she has a funny personality. Savannah likes to hang out in the house and enjoys brief walks. She also enjoys sitting in your lap, follow you around all day, and walks nicely on the leash. Savannah is friendly, reserved, adaptable, happy, loyal, and protective of family and/or home. She would do best in a quiet home, fenced in yard, older children, quiet and confident dogs, but no dominant."

Her minimum adoption donation is adopter's choice plus a $10 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
