Meet Ripley
I came to the shelter very sick and injured. With time, I became stronger, healthier and an instant fan favorite with the volunteers. I have transformed into a beautiful gentle giant who LOVES people and I crave attention from everyone who visits me.
Unfortunately, because I used to live on the streets trying to protect myself, I contracted the disease called FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) which has weakened my immune system. I can still live a long and happy life, but my health just needs to be monitored more closely for infections, such as upper respiratory (similar to a human cold).
I am very happy to be off the streets and in a warm bed, but I would love to have a home where my human can give me all the attention I crave. If you have any questions about me or FIV, please call our shelter at 715.486.5140.
Adoption fee is $50.00. Our adoption fees go directly toward the medical care of our animals.
We encourage you to visit our adoptable cats at our Adoption Center inside Marshfield Mall. Not all of our adoptable pets are at our Adoption Center; some may be at our intake facility or in foster care. Special arrangements to meet these pets will be made AFTER we receive your completed and approved adoption application.
