Sigmund Wirehaired Dachshund Mix Normal, IL

Sigmund is a one year old male dachshund mix. This little guy weighs about 11 pounds, but he is pretty skinny right now. Sigmund has a beautiful liver and white wirehaired coat. He is a little fearful of new people, unsure of how they are going to treat him, but once in the home, he attaches himself quickly to his person. Once he trusts you, he wants nothing more than to be near you. That doesn't mean he isn't curious, because he is and he loves to explore his surroundings, but always comes when called. Sigmund is house trained and tolerates a crate. Sigmund loves to go for walks and for car rides. He would absolutely love a doggy playmate. He needs a calm home where he can feel safe and gain confidence. Sudden, unexpected movements startle him, so no children under the age of 12.

His minimum adoption donation is $245 plus a $10 fee for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
