Felix Dachshund Smithfield, NC

Hi, I am Felix! I am a 9 year old Dachshund, and I am sweet, loving, and very affectionate. Some of my favorite things are going for walks, playing with my toys, especially my stuffed toys that I carry everywhere with me and snuggling. I am a great passenger on car rides, and I also enjoy going out on the town and meeting new people.
I LOVE everybody, men, women, and children, I love them all! But, I would be best suited in a home where I am the only pet. I get along well with other dogs in public settings or at a friend's house, but I just do not like sharing my home with others. Do not worry though, I have so much love to give that you will never be short on it! I do have the occasional seizure, but they are so few and far between that I do not require medicine to control them.
Felix would be an ideal RV traveling dog. Yeah, Felix the Road Warrior! We also suggest no very young children, recommending 8 or above.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
