Delia Retriever Mix Minneapolis, MN

Delia is a happy, silly puppy. She is energetic and playful but very sweet and gentle. She is friendly with everyone she meets - people, dogs, and cats. She has not been around small children yet but with how gentle she is we aren't really concerned that that will be an issue.

We are working on crate training and potty training. She is not a huge fan of her crate but improves with positive reinforcement. Potty training is going pretty well so far, she knows she is supposed to go outside and does so quickly when we go out.

Delia has not really been afraid of anything, sometimes a little hesitant about new experiences (hardwood floors, stairs, using the side door, etc.) but with praise she figures them out quickly.

Delia is completely adorable but her cutest features are her spotted feet. She must have some Blue Heeler or something similar in her to give her such a unique look (can see in one of the attached pictures).

By far, Delias absolute favorite thing is to be with her people - she follows her humans around the house and is always close by for some love. She throws her whole body into your lap so you can fully pet her. Delia is estimated to be 6.5 months old and 22 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed and size when grown.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
