Cammie Retriever Mix Minneapolis, MN

Hi, I am Cammie and I am so happy to be in Minnesota. Everyone is so nice and compliments me on my pretty face and golden coat. Aw shucks… thanks! I am in a foster home with three other dogs and we have a lot of fun! I get along with smaller and bigger dogs. I love to fetch, sniff for bunnies, walk, go to the dog park and, best of all, be caressed and loved. I can sit, lay and am working on some other commands. I just about have the command wait mastered. In my past life, I was not allowed on the furniture, so my foster family is not encouraging it in case my new forever home has some off limit areas. I was used to being in that shelter place, so I am remembering about not going oops in the house. I love to run and jump like a deer. It makes people smile and me, too! My foster family has a gate to keep me and my friends in a couple of rooms sometimes, but I tricked them and just hopped right over it. Tee hee hee. I also think it is hilarious when these humans try to take my picture. No way are paparazzi going to catch me! Humans think it is cute when I cock my head or tilt my head just right so my ears flip up. I am fine on a leash and will go lay in my crate or on a rug when I want some me time or when the humans leave us alone. At night, I sleep with my friend London and our guy, Gavin, in his room in another crate. It is cuddly and I go right to sleep or chew for a bit. I am going to meet some kids this weekend, but the people’s grandma is only 4’9” and I got along fine with her…. Not familiar with what a cat is, but if it can play, I would love it. I am about 28 pounds and about knee high-not too big and not too little. I think you need a confident, beautiful, smart, medium energy, fun loving girl in your life… Cammie is my name and a new forever home is my game!

Cammie is estimated to be 2 years old and 28 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
