Sadie is a gentle, loving girl. She has experienced some sadness in her life recently. Her elderly owner had to move and could not take Sadie so she must now find a new home where she can hang her leash.
Sadie is living in a foster home now. She is house-trained, gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t bother cats. She is quiet and calm and good with children. Although she is quiet and calm, Sadie does enjoy going for walks!
Sadie was well-fed in her previous home and did not get a lot of exercise so she is plump. When she was checked by a vet we found that she has a thyroid condition (hypothyroid) and she is now on medication for that. Now that she is on better food and getting more exercise, Sadie has begun to slim down a bit.
Sadie would do great in a home that is not too active, but will help her control her weight. She has lots of love to give and deserves a family who will love her in return! Is there room in your heart and home for Sadie?
