Meet Logan

New Arrival!

Logan
Is Ready for His Own Family 2 - 3 year old, large, male, black and tan German Shepherd
Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with children: Unknown
Good with cats: Unknown
This fellow was nearly the summer’s latest victim
.
Logan and another GSD, Liam, were found at an
apartment complex, and the Good Samaritans there
fed them and tried to find them some shade from
the dangerous Phoenix summer heat.
Now that Logan knows he’s safe, his personality is really starting to shine and you can it is his beautiful golden eyes. Logan thinks he’s a lap dog, which is adorable. He’s so grateful to have the love and
attention now that if you sit down with him, he’ll plop on your lap!
He’s still getting used to not being left outside anymore. When he first arrived, he didn’t want to go outside because he was afraid he’d be left there. Now he’s gaining confidence and understands what it
means to be an indoor, loved dog. We don’t think he’s had any training, but he does walk pretty well on a leash. As a big, active dog, he will need plenty of mental and physical activity, along with continued obedience training to reach his full potential. He’s very sweet and really likes to play with other dogs. He is a pretty big guy, so he might be best with older children only. We aren’t
sure if he’s good with cats or not at this point. If you're
e looking for an active, sweet dog, here he is! Please fill out our
online application to get the approval process started. We will only
schedule meet and greets with an approved application. All staff
