Missy (declawed all four paws) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Missy is a very pretty spayed female with dazzling green eyes, a white tipped tail, paws that have been declawed, and a couch potato personality. She is 11-years-old, but you would never know it by looking at her, or watching her at play as she chases a laser light dot across the room. Missy had lived in the same home for the last 10 years, but was surrendered to the shelter on 06/10/17 because a child in the household was getting too rough with her.

Missy is very affectionate with people she's familiar with, however, she likes to take a little extra time in getting to know strangers. Please be patient if she seems somewhat shy at first - a little extra time is well worth knowing how wonderful she is inside and out. Once she knows you, this lovely lady will offer a quiet purr, and her paws will start to knead in a marching motion as you shower her with love. She will greet you with a meow, and will lean into you giving head bunts to let you know that she already loves you and would like to go home with you. Missy enjoys being groomed, held in your arms, petted, and spending time on your lap as you watch TV or read a book. Just look at that cute round face and catch yourself smiling. The perfect home for Missy will be a quiet one without other cats where she will be your best friend forever.

Missy spent some time in a foster home where she did well with the large dog in her foster home. She tolerated the other cats, but was not friends with them. She especially loved to snuggle with the man in this household and would lightly knead him with her petite declawed paws.
