Meet Sugar
Breed: Shih Tzu

Fur: Average length, black with some colourings of white and tan
Activity level: Low
Like her name, Sugar is very sweet! This loving, little Shih Tzu is very affectionate towards both men and women and has never shied away from anyone. She loves being cuddled and given attention. She has not been introduced to any children but her foster doubts there would be any problem. Sugar is a very quiet dog in the house – no barking and is happy just being with her people and sleeping in her bed, beside you on the floor or on your lap. She is sure to be your little shadow!
Walks are enjoyable both for Sugar as well as the walker! She stands politely to be harnessed, walks nicely on leash, keeps up to your pace and does not pull at all. She enjoys meeting new people and other dogs along the way. She excitedly does a little dance, scratching her feet on the ground and letting out a little bark asking other dogs to play with her! She has not met another dog that she has not liked. She has not been exposed to any cats.
Other favorites include being on the deck enjoying the sounds of the birds. She loves being in the kitchen when food is being prepared, waits patiently for treats and gets small pieces of cheese just for being cute.
She is a good traveller who is always happy to go on car rides and happily sits or lies down in the back seat.
The ideal homevfor Sugar is one where she is not left alone for long periods. She could live with seniors but would also enjoy a moderately active family. Sugar would enjoy being with another small, playful dog or could be an only pet where she soaks up all the love and cuddles she deserves and wants. Either way, she will be a very good companion!
