Rueben (bonded with Chester) Guinea Pig Guinea Pig Eau Claire, WI

Rueben is a 2-year-old male Crested guinea pig that was surrendered to the shelter on 01/05/18 along with his best guinea pig friend Chester who is a 1-year-old male. Over time the child in their previous home lost interest in spending time with them, and it became obvious that these fantastic little guinea pigs would be more happy in a new forever home.

These wonderful boys are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Guinea pigs are very social animals that do better in pairs, and these two mean the world to each other. They sleep together, play together, and will let you know if the other one has been out of their sight for too long.

They are both well socialized and do fine with dogs, children, strangers, and standard household noises. Rueben is a playful boy that loves his toys; balls that have a bell in them seem to be his current favorite. He is a bit more timid than Chester about being picked up, but once in your arms he enjoys cuddle time with you and loves being scratched and petted. He is such a handsome boy and loves to entertain his humans.
