Meet Barnaby
It's raining puppies at White Paws German Shepherd Rescue!
Please meet Barnaby! He is a 5 month old German Shepherd mix who lives in a foster home in Wisconsin.
He is all puppy. He loves to romp and play with his siblings and even enjoys exploring his yard and house on his own. He absolutely loves having a doggie door at his house so he is able to go outside whenever he wants. He loves being outside with his humans especially. He is almost totally house trained, up to date on all shots, microchipped and will be neutered before he is adopted. Date has already been set up. He is closed off in the kitchen when his foster mom leaves so he hasn't started crate training yet. He is still a pup so that shouldn't be a difficult task to accomplish. He is learning how to walk on a leash and not use it as a play toy. He is also beginning to learn some commands.
Barnaby has been with his siblings for 5 months now so we suggest his forever home have another dog to play with, one that can teach him how you want him to behave.
Another dog will also help with his shyness. He is shy with new people at first but tends to warm up to humans very quickly.
He hasn't been tested with cats yet.
He is a puppy and a German Shepherd so his forever home should be committed to training him throughout his lifetime. Consistency with language and expectations is the key.

Adult dog- 1-7 year old- $300
Senior- 7 +- $150

***** We will adopt puppies to families with children that are 5 years and above due to puppies tendencies to bite while teething.
All our dogs are Vet checked, spayed/neutered, current on all shots, heart worm checked and on preventative before being adopted out and will come with a Health Certificate. We look for the best possible families for them so please be patient with our adoption process.
