Chow Chow Mix: An adopted dog in Memphis, TN
Sydney was neglected in her owners backyard as they comfortably remained inside. The owners suddenly stopped feeding her. No water, food, or shelter. They were intentionally trying to kill her; a slow, torturous death from starvation.
We are outraged her owners were so cruel and yet thankful we have her now. We just hope they never have pets again. (or children)
Sydney arrived heartworm positive, with ring worm, emaciated from starvation and covered in fleas and ticks. She has been treated for all her ailments and has made a full recovery. Sadly, this was many years ago. She has been with us ever since her rescue years ago. She is approximately 6 years of age and weighs 55 lbs.
It's not a matter of what's wrong with her? Nothing, other than the black dog curse.
She is a wonderful, loving, sweet, healthy girl overlooked.
