Olive Chihuahua Normal, IL

'Hi! I'm Olive, a darling five year old female Chihuahua, and I am searching for Mr or Mrs Right's lap. That's because I love being held, and I'm told I act like a loving kitten when I get picked up. I guess I even sort of purr because it makes me so happy! Speaking of cats, they are a-okay with me. But, I'd really like to be the only dog so that I may have your lap all to myself. Older kids are fine, but wee ones make me nervous.

I enjoy walks, but I'm super laid back. So, I don't need lots of exercise. Did I mention I like sitting in your lap?

You can crate me if you want to, but I would never chew up your things, and I always potty outside. I only weigh 8 pounds, so I don't take up very much space. Sometimes I bark at my own tail. It was pretty broken when I first was rescued. Since it hurt me so much, I kept thinking it was out to get me! The veterinarian helped me, and took my owies away. But, I still get confused and occasionally growl at my little nubbin'. My foster mama reminds me it's just my tail, and I calm right down. Other than that, I'm not much of a barker. I hope that's okay!

Her minimum adoption donation is adopter's choice plus a $10 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control(McLean County residents).

Olive has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and fecal checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
