Hya ( at PetSmart ) Domestic Long Hair Eau Claire, WI

Hya is an 8-year-old neutered male that was surrendered to the shelter on 05/26/17, as his previous owner was no longer able to care for him. His adorable snaggletooth look is due to a twisted jaw. Hya lived with a Mini Schnauzer dog in his previous home; they played and did well together. Hya also does well with gentle children. Like many cats, the shelter environment has been a bit overwhelming for him, but he does warm up quickly if given just a little extra time to get to know you. He has big, gorgeous, yellow/green eyes and a soft, handsome, long grey coat which will need to be brushed often to keep it from getting matted. Hya is very good about being brushed and combed, but prefers being petted, groomed, and having his cheeks scratched while at your side. He is not fond of being held in your arms or spending time on your lap. This puffball will do best in a quiet household where he can enjoy quiet times with his new forever family. He loves attention, but is very independent, so he is not likely to be overly demanding of your time. He still loves to play and will certainly be a cherished member of your household.
