Jasper (at PetSmart) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Jasper is a 2-year-old neutered male waiting to be adopted into a quiet household with an experienced feline lover. He is a solid, handsome, independent fellow that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 05/25/17. Jasper loves to play with toy balls that have a bell in them as well as glitter balls, but also enjoys interactive play-time with humans that happen to have a laser light toy or wand toy in their hand. He starts out playing gently, but easily gets over stimulated and becomes quite enthusiastic about the current game, becoming more serious about keeping whatever toy he has caught. As much as he loves playing with you, he is also very good about playing independently if you are having a busy day. This frisky feline has a great affectionate side too. He loves attention and will lean into you hard begging to be brushed, petted, and scratched. He will even give kisses to thank you for the time spent with him. Like many cats, Jasper prefers to receive his attention while by your side rather than being held in your arms, which seems to give him that trapped feeling.
