Meet Beckett
Beckett has a story we are all too familiar with. His owner moved away, dropping him on the ground as they drove off. Beckett had a little bit of luck when a nearby neighbor spotted him a week later in her yard and with investigation, found out his story. She couldn't take him in but all winter but she provided a meal a day on her porch and allowed him to huddle on her porch. Luckily the group Spay Worcester stepped in to scoop him up and brought him to us.
Beckett is a friendly guy who has a where's my family? quizzical expression. He is up to date on all his vet care. We are estimating he is 8- 10 years old. He is very friendly and loves to roll over on his back for petting. He loves to be talked to as he eats his meals and will gently nudge your hand for more petting. We wanted to make sure this older fellow was in good health and ran senior blood work which came back normal for a cat this age. He is ready to go!
To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application from this page:

If a cat is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption. The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place on Saturdays from 11 - 1:00 during adoption hours, or by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125. Our kitten adoption fee (cats up to 6 months old) is $160 for a single kitten or $260 for a pair. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, combo testing (for FeLV and FIV) and spaying/neutering when old enough.
