Vinny needs a single person home. He has done ok with other dogs and some cats but very owner possessive!
Vinny is back up for adoption!! He was temporarily made unavailable as were waiting on test results of a tumor on his head. The test results confirmed he did have cancer and that all margins were removed. It is possible and likely he will get other growths that will need to be surgically removed. The vet also said the average lifespan with this form of cancer is approximately 6 years. Vinny has lots of spunk and love left in him for his human. Vinny is around 3 to 4 years old and is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, negative for heartworms and has been started on heartworm and flea prevention.

In addition to Vinny's possible future medical needs, he will also need a person who understands a chihuahua's temperament. Vinny will likely do best with a person or a couple. He is not recommended for a home with children (young or older). When he has chosen his person, he will become quite protective of that person. Vinny does better with smaller breed dogs. He does NOT like cats! Vinny will be loyal, cuddly, and a true companion to his special person.
