Tesla is a very petite and pretty muted tortoiseshell with bright green eyes, She is a 4-year-old spayed female that was surrendered to the shelter on 05/12/17, as her previous owner simply had too many cats. Tesla is waiting for a quiet home without young children. She is a very sweet girl, but is a bit on the shy side, and the commotion of children at play agitates her into hiding. She has raised many litters of kittens which may also be a reason for her cautiousness around kids. Tesla lived in the same household her entire life and enjoys the company of other cats, dogs, and does well with strangers. She will do best in a home with at least one other feline; she seeks out other cats that will snuggle and nap with her. This adorable fuzzball will need a home that is willing to brush her often in order to keep her coat looking beautiful and free of mats. Brushing her is the way to her heart as she loves attention and spending time with you. She also adores face rubs, chin scratches, and lounging on your lap. Tesla is calm, loving, and sweet, but is also independent enough to entertain herself when you are having a busy day. She is active, loves toys, and playing with other felines.
