Asia Tuxedo Vine Grove, KY

It would be easy to confuse Asia with Jackie, another tiny tuxedo cat here at ARC, but Asia has a personality that is uniquely her own. Asia came to us from another shelter in Kentucky and it took her a little while to adjust to her new surroundings. Not many cats are used to sharing a home with 80 to 100 free roaming cats, not counting the kitties at our rescue that live in rooms and it took Asia a little while to build up her confidence and get used to her new surroundings.

Asia has found that she really likes to go outside and she enjoys playing in the yard with our goats and pot-belly pigs. Asia is the type of kitty to sit in your lap and smooch your face, but she doesn't like being picked up. For Asia to relax she has to feel like she is always in control. Asia has undergone quite the transformation since arriving here and she gets along well with other kitties and dogs, but prefers to be her own free spirit and would be happiest in an indoor/outdoor home.

Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
