Roxanne Domestic Short Hair Vine Grove, KY

Roxanne is a beautiful gray and white, who was a pull from Hardin County Animal Shelter back in February. She arrived at ARC a very pregnant kitty and gave birth to just one baby, a beautiful Calico girl named Paisley. Biologically Roxanne wasn't ready to be a mother and shortly after giving birth to Paisley she had to go to the vet, where she received a shot to induce lactation. Roxanne and Paisley then spent the next 2 months in foster care before returning to the Animal Refuge Center.

Roxanne is a calm, quiet, happy-go-lucky kind of gal, who enjoys playing and loves being brushed. She craves attention, but knows she's going to get it and that shows us that she has a bit of confidence about her. Confidence, but not cattitude, because Roxanne loves other kitties and gets along well with everyone. Sometimes it feels like Roxanne has a bit of bunny in her, when she runs up to us as if to initiate a game of tag and then hops away. Roxanne would prefer a home with at least 1 other friendly pet and she does well with both children and dogs as well as other kitties.

Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
