Meg Shar-Pei & Labrador Retriever Mix Minneapolis, MN

Meg is a sweet dog who loves nothing more in life than cuddling with her people and going on walks. Meg is house trained and crate trained and can have the run of the house while her foster family are away. She walks well on leash because walks are her favorite thing! She loves meeting new people and greets them with a smile and a paw. Meg is a mellow girl who prefers a cozy spot in the grass or a nice nesting bed to playtime with other dogs. She does get silly from time to time, throwing a toy in the air or showing you how her toys squeak, but mostly she just likes the company of her family. Meg loves getting as close as possible to people, she slowly noses-in with sniffs and kisses and has refined the skill of maneuvering into your lap without you knowing. Meg loves to sleep in bed with her foster family but it can be difficult for her to share that space with the resident dogs. Though Meg does fine with other dogs most of the time, certain situations can make her uncomfortable and she is best suited in a home where she is the only dog and gets all of the attention. Meg's ideal owner would be one with a lot of love to give, patience, a commitment to ongoing training and of course a love for slow and savory walks through the neighborhood.

Meg is estimated to be 1 year old and 33 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
