Bud (at Bob's House For Dogs) Pug Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hi, my name is Bud, and I am a neutered male Pug mix. I was surrendered to the shelter because my previous owners were moving to a place that didn't allow pets. If you like to celebrate birthdays, I would like you to know that I was born on 05/26/06, so I am 11 years old. This only means that I am aged to perfection as I still have tons of pep to my step and I feel great. I am good with strangers, other dogs, and children. I have been told that a lot of people have something called a cat, but I have never met one, so I am not too sure how I would do. I have not been taught the basic commands, but I am crate trained and housebroken. I do well on leash or in a fenced in yard, but will take off given the chance. I will let you know my needs. I love to be with people and enjoy sunning myself by a window. I love being petted on my back, but I do NOT like to have my head and face touched. You may scratch my butt for hours and I love being brushed. That reminds me to let you know that I will need to be brushed more often from now until about August. I am a very sweet Pug and my favorite place to sleep is at the foot of your bed. I sleep a lot during the day, but will bark at any strange noise to protect my house and family. I will do best with a family that has time to spend with me because I am very social. I like to cuddle, play, and go for frequent but short walks. I am currently staying at Bob's House for Dogs.
