Here we have another sweet little purrface that wants nothing more than to be by your side 24/7. It's taken Miss Queso a little while to come around and certainly she learned a lot from her brother Frito, who was also her best friend while he was at ARC. Queso is just a little over 6 months old and is very playful, but she also craves human attention and would prefer if one of the workers or volunteers at ARC could stay with her the whole day. Queso was originally a rescue from Hardin County Animal Shelter and will do well in a home with other pets and/or children and is just waiting for the day when she can take a nap in the lap or bed of her human.

Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
