Delilah Pit Bull Terrier & Boxer Mix Springfield, MO

Hey there! I'm Delilah! I'm an 18 month old, 51 pound pitbull mix. I am house trained and I go very easily into my kennel when it's time for my foster parents to go to work, but I am still rather vocal when it's time for them to leave, so I probably wouldn't be a great fit for apartment life. I have a lot of energy and I love to run and play, so I would love to have a big backyard or some active humans who can keep up with me. I'm very smart and already know commands like sit, lay down and come. My previous owners had kids and I did really well with them, but I do have a lot of energy and am still working on some manners, so I think a family with older children would be best for me. I haven't been around a lot of other dogs and it takes a little while for me to warm up to new friends, but I think I would do very well with a chill dog friend who wouldn't mind giving me some time to get used to them. Overall, I just really love to be where my humans are and my foster mom thinks I would also do just fine as an only dog. I need someone with good leash skills as I am working on them and need someone to keep up with my training.
