Missy (bonded with Gary) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Missy and her best friend Gary are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Missy is a 3-year-old spayed female, and Gary is a 6-year-old neutered male. They were surrendered to the shelter on 04/02/17 as the current landlord did not allow pets. Missy has dazzling green eyes, and a jaw droppingly beautiful light torbie coat with an exceptional amount of orange, highlighted by a darker tail. Her beautiful ticked coat seems to shimmer in the sunlight due to the color variation in each hair. Missy is having a harder time adjusting to the chaos of being a shelter resident and is very friendly, but a bit shy at first. She just likes to err on the side of caution. Please be patient and go slow with your introduction using a soft voice. In doing so, you will be amazed at how fast she warms up to you! She truly LOVES attention and will give you that warm and fuzzy feeling inside knowing that she is so appreciative of your time! Missy only asks for a quiet home filled with love, and will return that love tenfold.
