Moose Chocolate Labrador Retriever & Beagle Mix Bloomsburg, PA

This boy is a 5 yr old chocolate lab/beagle mix. His human momma died, so we are helping him find a new momma or poppa. Moose loves other dogs, big and small. He is always eager to meet new dogs and see if they would like to play with him. Moose gets along with cats, but may try to chase and play with them in the absence of a doggie playmate. We love Moose, but he is NOT a dog for the average family. Due to Moose being slow to warm up to new people, we are looking for a mature family who has experience working with dogs with fear anxiety. While Moose is wonderful with people he knows, he does not like new people or kids abruptly walking up to him and invading his personal space. Due to this, a home with stable, infrequent changes in visitors may be best. Moose quickly warmed up to a worker's 11 and 14 yr old kids, but they were told not to approach him and let Moose choose to interact. Moose did, and in minutes, was laying on their laps.
