Mistletoe ( third longest resident ) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Mistletoe is a lovely spayed female that was sadly surrendered to the shelter on 03/29/17. She is 13-years-old and her previous owner was no longer able to care for her. Mistletoe lived in that same home her entire life, lost her mom (who she was very attached to) in December, and is now a shelter resident. Her entire life has seemed to turn upside down, and she has started to stress groom herself, but is doing her best to be brave until a forever home can be found for her. Mistletoe is in need of a quiet home without children or dogs, where she can spend her golden years peacefully being pampered and loved. She is such a pretty girl with eyes so bright that you will think they are lit from within. She loves being petted, brushed, and showered with love as she offers a soft purr to thank you for your kindness. Mistletoe is a lover of Temptation treats, but should watch the calories as she would like to lose a bit of weight. She is very laid-back, but does have times of playfulness which is all the more precious at her age. Mistletoe is very interested in what is going on around her and especially seems to enjoy time at a window where she can entertain herself watching birds come and go, or other critters scampering about.
