Meet Otis "Odie"
Otis is an awesome blend of beagle and pug... He is an insecure fellow whose puppy years were not happy ones. He was fearful of just about everything when he arrived at the TLC , and repeatedly tried to curl up in a far corner of his yard to avoid any human contact.. but is slowing learning that all humans are not to be avoided. A major hurdle was overcome when he actually went into his indoor space, and discovered his soft, comfortable bed. He now goes in and out and is comfortable with his pet door. Trust is slow, but each day shows progress. A mellow fellow who shows no aggression toward or canines or humans, loves to take walks.. He wagged his tail today!! He mingles with the other dogs and is learning to play with them. "Odie" would make a wonderful companion for someone with the time and patience to help him develop more confidence.
